I use a netbook to wander the web and compose drivel, now. It's light enough to carry in a messenger bag with my DS lite and a small pharmacy when I go out. Although, it may have been the reason I've had migraines from spinal issues in my neck. Hmmmmm. Oh, that's just ridiculous. The treatment for the serious systemic infections running rampant throughout my body takes a horrific toll some days. The past two days have been washed in a sea of pain. I can only hope that the pain I feel today is just the bruises and abrasions from the flotsam and jetson in the sea, and not a new storm front coming in. Soon we will prepare our homes and hearts to welcome anew our Lord and Savior into the world. This is my favorite time of year. We will dine with staunch friends of these past 20 years. This is likely the last Christmas and Thanksgiving my best friend will spend on Earth. I am honored that she and her husband have put my wife and I on the short list of people that she wants to spend her precious energy upon. It will be the best of times, it will be the worst of times....

If you haven't seen my journal, a quick update. I am moving the remainder of jon.com and any of my future manuscripts to a professional/personal web site where I hope to attract additional readers, an agent and a publisher or two. I would love to put you in my data base so you receive information about new chapters as they are written. If you are interested, would you please respond to me in a NOTE with your:
Name
Address
Email address
Sex
Age
And if you are so inclined, a sentence or two telling why you like my work, which I could use as a testimonial if needed.
I sure would appreciate it. BTW, I'll still be around dA. I'd miss all you guys too much. I've made some valuable friends here, and I hope I can count you among them. Thanks.
Denise
Hey, keep up the needle work. My mother hands are as knotty as a hickory branch and she has full use of them. If I ever get arthritis as bad I'm taking up her knitting!
